The system’s inspection capabilities cover the reading and presence checking of barcodes, alpha-numeric text, graphics, the control of fill level and closure application, as well as the inspection of label position and quality. The V2630’s modular design gives the opportunity to adapt the system to future inspection requirements.
The integrated software informs the operator immediately when detecting a label defect or packaging which allows for fast response. Depending on the production requirements, the V2630 can also be configured to trigger a shutdown. The tracking function observes not only the way each product takes in a packaging line it also checks whether defected products have been rejected.
The V2630 is available with different configurations that can be extended in case of change production requirements. So a system used with one camera and one light can be equipped with up to four additional cameras and nine additional lights. As easy as the system’s extension is its integration into a packaging line. The frame of the V2630 gets installed over the line so no breakage is required.
